Mission Statement-To update Local 2629's Constitution to conform with a more modern union structure and the latest technology. This will assure a energized officer corp, a dedicated sucession plan and more closely follow the International Constitution. |

Grievance Committee |
The mission of the Grievance Committee is to impartially review all grievances advancing beyond the Human Resources level in the grievance process and to make recommendations regarding grievance advancement to the Executive Board based solely on the data presented. |

Membership Committee |
The purpose of the Membership Committee is to strengthen AFSCME Local 2629 by increasing the membership base and it's activity. This includes, but is not limited to, recruitment of new members (fair share and nonunion), retention of current members, the promotion of community action, events and activities in order to increase visibility, encourage and cultivate the next wave of union leadership/activists and maintaining ongoing political activity to remain abreast of any legislation that could impact Labor. |

Stewards Committee |
The Stewards Committee will strive to create a uniform policy for filing and tracking grievances. It will provide the stewards with the tools, confidence and education that are needed to fulfill their duties and serve the membership of AFSCME Local 2629. |
